/How it works
Having an initial discussion will help you, and us, identify the best approach. We might agree that you need a project team embedded into your business to build the plan and/or handle the delivery. Or, we might identify that you only need one or two key people to ‘lead the way’. Our team has a wide and varied skillset, so we can ensure we pencil in the right people to achieve the outcome you want. Next, we’ll agree on a proposal for the way forward, including your timeframe and any milestones or targets we need to hit along the way. We can either work on-site with you, or we can work remotely – or a combination; whichever suits you best. Once we’ve agreed what ‘great’ looks like for you, we’re ready to get going.

Over the last 12 months, the smart/tasking team has seen the real cost of delayed decision making. Leadership teams can lose millions in margin, not because they lack strategy, but because they delay difficult operational decisions for too long. But when these foundations are ignored, early operational indecision quickly becomes the most expensive line item on an executive P&L.
When the strategy team leaves the room: why execution demands partnership By Niall Anderson, CEO
Over a 40-year career navigating the journey from an apprentice to various board-level positions, I have seen the same costly script play out dozens of times. A senior leadership team identifies a massive opportunity for growth or optimisation. Significant capital is allocated to deep diagnostics, and a prestigious strategy team delivers a brilliant roadmap. But then, the strategy team leaves the room. The gap between strategic intent and operational reality remains.
